Job description

Learning And Development Coordinator - Abshire-Inamori Leadership Academy (AILA)

The Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) is a non-profit, bipartisan public policy organization established in 1962 to provide strategic insights and practical policy solutions to decision makers concerned with global security and prosperity. Over the years, it has grown to be one of the largest organizations of its kind, with a staff of some 250 employees, including more than 120 analysts working to address the changing dynamics of international security across the globe.

The Learning and Development (L&D) Coordinator manages several programs in the Executive Education portfolio by helping execute intensive and substantive training programs for external audiences, such as universities and corporate, governmental, and nonprofit organizations. The L&D Coordinator will help manage all project components, including program development, program management and implementation, partnerships, budgets, personnel, and external relations. They will also assist with some central program responsibilities such as budgeting and metrics.

The Abshire-Inamori Leadership Academy (AILA) provides internal leadership and professional development programs to CSIS staff and interns, including foreign policy seminars, current event discussions, and professional skill-building workshops. AILA's Executive Education portfolio is responsible for developing substantive training programs for outside organizations, including corporate, government, university, and NGO partners across the globe.
