Job description4+ years in category / program management, product strategy, or similar analytical, cross-functional roles in e?commerce or fast?paced tech environments A strong ability to research, synthesize information, and present actionable insights Advanced proficiency in Excel (data modeling, financial analysis, forecasting) Proven experience leading cross-functional projects and presenting findings to leadership teams Detail-oriented mindset with a knack for process improvement and innovation Self-starter who thrives on high-stakes decision-making and taking initiative Strong prioritization skills to handle multiple projects amid shifting priorities Experience using SQL, Tableau, or other BI tools to inform strategy and optimization Familiarity with or strong interest in learning and leveraging AI tools Comfortable interpreting A / B test results and implementing changes that reflect those learnings Exposure to underwriting / actuarial concepts (frequency, severity, loss ratio), analyzing insurance risk, and retail pricing strategies The target base salary range for this position is listed above. Individual salaries are determined based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Category Manager
At Extend, your work will have a direct and visible impact. As a Program Manager, you will own the development, optimization, and go-to-market strategy for your assigned portfolio of warranty programs. This role provides you with full ownership of your categories, the opportunity to make strategic decisions with minimal oversight, and the ability to drive real value for merchants and consumers alike.
You'll be part of a highly impactful, cross-functional team that contributes to innovative solutions and delivers exceptional protection products that set new industry standards.
What You'll Do
- Own Your Portfolio : Drive top & bottom line growth for your verticals.
- Shape Strategy : Define, execute, and present the strategy for your portfolio, ensuring it aligns with merchant, consumer, and Extend needs while outperforming competitors.
- Drive Impact : Make critical business decisions while collaborating cross-functionally to bring your ideas to life. Work closely with Analytics, Sales, and Operations to ensure your programs are poised to win deals and drive revenue.
- Innovate : Design custom solutions for major retail partners like Peloton, Sonos, Oura Ring, Ashley Furniture, and more.
- Ensure Competitiveness : Regularly review your portfolio to maintain best-in-class coverage and pricing through thorough industry and category analyses.
