Overview
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is seeking a Data Center Facilities Engineer for our colocation facilities in Phoenix, AZ. Our Phoenix facilities are critical assets and we are seeking an engineer with expertise in mission critical environments. Responsibilities
You will report to the manager of Data Center Facility Engineering and will be responsible for ensuring the operation, maintenance, and efficiency of Oracle mission critical facilities infrastructure. As the facility engineer, you will coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure the continuous availability of the power and cooling in the data center. Your role will be critical to supporting our customers growth and ensuring we deliver on our promises.
Technical
- A desire to learn and participate in the creation and development of scalable engineering solutions
- Ability to read and utilize electrical and mechanical schematics
- Safely performing electrical switching operations
- Review of MOPs and SOPs for accuracy, safety, and to assess the potential for business impact
- Overseeing the maintenance activities performed by others to ensure they are conducted safely and correctly
- Ensuring Oracle change management policies are adhered to
- Undertaking the testing of electrical and cooling systems and identifying issues and working on solutions
- Supporting the resolution of engineering incidents
- Overseeing the installation of electrical and cooling infrastructure
Testing and Verification

Associates degree or higher in an electrical or electronic disciplineAt least 5 years of experience in operating and maintaining Data Center facilitiesJourneyman electrical license or higherQualifications

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only. US : Hiring Range in USD from : $79,100 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity. Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
