Full Stack Python Software Engineer, Developer Experience

Toyota Connecteds TechOps team builds tools that empower developers to move fast build confidently and deliver world-class software. Were seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our growing Developer Experience team. Youll design and build internal tools APIs frameworks and backend services that improve developer workflows CI / CD pipelines code quality automation and platform observability.

Responsibilities :

• Build robust and scalable software with Python Node React and Typescript that optimize the developer experience
• Develop and improve tools that support CI / CD testing local developer environments and observability
• Design APIs and internal services that are intuitive reliable and well-documented
• Collaborate with other developers to identify pain points and build solutions that streamline engineering workflows
• Instrument systems with metrics and logging to measure usage latency and reliability of Developer Experience tools
• Partner with Platform Engineering SRE and Security teams to ensure tools are secure and scalable
• Advocate for best practices in software engineering automation and platform engineering
• Develop and maintain documentation best practices and ethical guidelines for projects
