Data Scientist - Level II

📍 Chantilly, VA | 🕒 Full-Time | 🔒 TS / SCI with Polygraph | Onsite Overview Lucayan Technology LLC is seeking a  Level 2 Data Scientist  to join our team in Chantilly, VA.

This role applies advanced data science techniques to cybersecurity operations and mission-focused analytics, enabling automation, anomaly detection, and data-driven decision-making.

What You’ll Do Collect, clean, and analyze  cybersecurity and IA data .

Build machine learning models and statistical solutions.

Create dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings.

Support data engineering and automation initiatives.

Provide recommendations to mission stakeholders and leadership.

Do You Have What It Takes?

Active  TS / SCI with Polygraph .

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Math, Computer Science, or equivalent. 5+ years of experience   in data science, analytics, or a related field.

Knowledge of machine learning, LLMs, and data visualization.

Familiarity with tools such as Python, R, AWS, Spark, and Tableau.

Preferred :

• Cybersecurity or IA operations experience.
• Agile workflow experience (Scrum, Jira, Confluence).
