Assistant Project Manager (Ossining)

Description

Truelines client , a growing general contracting / construction management firm in Ossining, NY, is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join their team full time. This role supports all aspects of project delivery, planning, coordinating, budget and schedule maintenance, stakeholder communication, and execution on site, while offering major exposure to municipal work and high visibility projects.

What Youll Do as the Assistant Project Manager :

• Help manage and coordinate construction trades and subcontractors, ensuring work aligns with plans, specifications, and approved submittals
• Maintain project schedules (master schedule, six week look ahead, etc.), track long lead items, and distribute schedules to trades / vendors
• Assist in cost tracking, reviewing subcontractor / vendor change orders, and preparing owner & subcontractor change orders
• Oversee document management : maintain current plans / specs, process RFIs, submittals, sketches, revisions, and quality control checklists
• Support the Project Manager in conducting regular meetings (owner, trade, internal), coordinating deliveries, reviewing invoices / requisitions, and site logistics
• Assist with project close out : gather warranties, operation & maintenance manuals, as builts, attic stock, ensure punch lists are addressed
