Job Description and Focus

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to bring our Private Cloud AI product to the next level. As a Senior Product Manager for PCAI, you will drive the strategy, development, execution, and evolution of data infrastructure solutions for Private Cloud AI, enabling data scientists and ML engineers to build and operate ML workflows at scale in an enterprise environment. You will work closely with GTM teams to bring new generations of products to market and influence important technical decisions.

Management Level Definition

Contributions impact technical components of HPE products, solutions, or services regularly and sustainably. Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Provides expertise and partnership to functional and technical project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Exercises significant independent judgment to determine best method for achieving objectives. May provide team leadership and mentoring to others.

Responsibilities

Define and execute a product strategy to unlock AI opportunities across the world’s largest organizations.

Independently lead and drive the end-to-end strategy and operational product roadmap for one or more complex products.

Define the value proposition, target customer segments, and business case to bring one or more innovative and disruptive products to market with respect to the whole company product portfolio (i.e. product configuration mix, revenue / margins, financials, market share).

Synthesize market requirements (MRD) into marketing / customer details through intimate customer knowledge and business, financial and industry market acumen.

Advise key stakeholders on the portfolio strategy across all lifecycle phases (planning, development, launch, management, exit).

Create and drive goal alignment and collaborate across one or more products’ value chain partners to optimize margins and enable success of products per plans across the product lifecycle (e.g., engineering, supply chain, marketing, go-to-market).

Education and Experience Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.

8+ years of work experience in related field.

Technical understanding and knowledge of the AI infrastructure industry.

Knowledge and Skills

Expert team skills and ability to cross-functionally drive / influence work, mentor and lead teams on complex, ambiguous projects.

Expert skills in cost-efficient solution building, financial performance metric creation and analysis.

Strong technical acumen across enterprise AI and data workflows. Expertise in AI and ML hardware, ecosystem, and software is a plus.

Technical understanding of the relevant industry and ability to provide product-specific technical training to the team.

Salary and Benefits

The expected salary / wage range for a U.S.-based hire is USD 117,500.00 to 270,000.00 per year. Actual offer may vary by location, experience, and qualifications. Information about employee benefits can be found at the official HP rewards site.
