Intensive LPN - REACH Program ($2,500 on Bonus)

NRVCS continues to make a positive impact on your community every day. Our REACH team is growing and looking for our next Intensive LPN! As the LPN, you will work as a part of the REACH Team to provide healthcare related crisis stabilization, and prevention, supports to individuals receiving REACH therapeutic services.

You will help to ensure healthcare services are coordinated across providers, while providing healthcare related training to individuals served and staff.

Starting Salary- $38,251- Depending on Experience

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated knowledge of nursing practices, activities, and resources available in the community which can be used to support individuals with disabilities in a community setting.
  • Basic knowledge of adult learning principles and teaching techniques.
  • Basic knowledge of Medicaid guidelines as they pertain to individuals supported.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing and to prepare and present educational materials.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license (state of Virginia, unless otherwise approved by agency) with an acceptable driving record.

Must maintain acceptable record throughout employment.

  • Must have an acceptable criminal history background and child protective services check upon hire and maintained throughout employment;
  • Must have acceptable drug screen results upon hire.

Education / Experience Required :

  • Graduate of an approved School of Nursing
  • A valid Virginia Practical Nurse License (LPN) is required
  • At least 2 years of applicable experience supporting individuals with behavioral health and / or developmental disabilities is required.

Additional compensation will be considered for any new employees who speak multiple languages.
