Our client provides comprehensive building system solutions for commercial spaces, and they want you to join their team as a Building Automation Systems Engineer!
Your day-to-day as a Building Automation Systems Engineer :
- Design and develop building automation systems tailored to client needs and industry standards
- Integrate various building systems (HVAC, lighting, security, into a cohesive automation platform
- Collaborate with stakeholders to grasp building requirements and technical parameters
- Generate comprehensive system design documents and collaborate with vendors for component verification
- Program automation controllers and devices to ensure desired functionality
- Conduct on-site commissioning and provide technical support and training to field teams and end-users
Your skills and experience :
- Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or related field is required, relevant certifications or equivalent experience is a plus
- Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining building automation systems
- Strong knowledge of building systems including HVAC, lighting, security, and energy management
- Familiarity with ACAD, Niagara, and Distech is preferred
- Proficient in building automation protocols like BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
