Technology Governance & IT Business Analysis intern
within State Street's Global Technology Services organization. Our technology function, Global Technology Services (GTS), is vital to State Street and is the key enabler for our business to deliver data and insights to our clients. What You Will Do :
In this role, you will perform the following day-to-day activities :
Gather and document business requirements through user stories and acceptance criteria
Analyze and map current and future-state processes and workflows
Perform data analysis using Excel; familiarity with Power BI is beneficial
Apply strong project management skills and business analysis skills and understand Agile methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to support project execution
Utilize tools such as Jira, Clarity, and SharePoint for tracking work, collaboration, and documentation
Support governance with awareness of controls, compliance, audit readiness, and policy adherence
Maintain documentation including RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) and milestone tracking for project transparency
Support change control processes by assessing impacts of change requests and ensuring proper approvals and compliance with governance policies and procedures

Education and Preferred Qualifications :
Candidates should be :
Final-year undergraduate or graduate students
pursuing degrees in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Business Management with a Project focus, or related technical disciplines who are interested in converting to a full-time role post-graduation

Salary Range :
$41,600 - $65,000 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
