Junior Accountant

A growing renewable energy company is seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to join its finance team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate looking to start their career in accounting while gaining hands-on experience across a broad range of functions. The position will primarily focus on supporting the accounting needs of the company's operating renewable energy project portfolio, with additional exposure to projects in development.

You will work closely with experienced accounting professionals, gaining valuable training and mentorship in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes for operating renewable energy projects.
• Support monthly cash reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations , ensuring documentation accuracy.
• Help maintain and update vendor and customer records in the ERP system.
• Assist in preparing standard journal entries for depreciation, amortization, and account reconciliations.
• Provide audit support by gathering and organizing documentation for assigned entities.
• Research and help resolve vendor and customer account discrepancies.
• Participate in the month-end close process, including preparation of closing entries related to operating projects.
