Job description
A company is looking for a Database Administrator.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases for web-based and GIS applications
Perform daily system monitoring and implement database patches, upgrades, and performance tuning
Manage user accounts and security controls, and coordinate with application administrators for database integration
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator with Microsoft SQL Server (2016 or later)
Strong knowledge of database architecture, performance tuning, and high-availability configurations
Experience with database security and compliance frameworks
Familiarity with integration between SQL Server databases and GIS systems
