As a Security Officer - Unarmed Retail Patrol in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by patrolling and monitoring assigned retail and mall locations. You will remain visible throughout the property to support a secure environment, respond to incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to visitors and tenants. What You'll Do :

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance needs within the location.

Assist with access control and / or wayfinding for visitors and tenants as required.

Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency personnel as needed during incidents or emergencies.

Document all activities, observations, and incidents clearly and accurately in written reports.

Support emergency response activities and follow location-specific emergency procedures when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements :

Customer service experience is preferred.

Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

A Guard Card or license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
