Job Description
Takeda's Biotherapeutics Process Development focuses on creating and optimizing the manufacturing processes for innovative biologic medicines, including monoclonal antibodies and other therapeutic proteins. BPD includes cell line development, upstream cell culture, downstream purification, in-process analytics, pilot labs to facilitate scale up and transfer, and technology development teams, working collaboratively to deliver Takeda’s novel therapeutics.
As a Co-op in the Upstream Pilot Lab, you will learn about bioreactor scale-up and lead kLa studies to characterize large-scale bioreactors in the Pilot Lab. You will gain hands‑on experience working with large-scale bioreactors (50L – 1000L) and develop lab skills, including sampling and setting up bioreactors and working with an auto sampling system.
