Immediately Hiring a Dedicated Solo Class A CDL Driver in Fort Wayne, IN

We are looking for the right employee to drive with us at Ryder. Ryder Employees who drive on this account earn $1385 or more weekly and it gets better. Ryder Drivers are paid weekly with a weekly guarantee of $1385 per week. Solo miles pay is $0.51 per mile with 2500 miles per week. Solo stops pay is $10.00 per stop with 10-20 stops per week. Drop and hook pay is $6.00 per drop / hook. There is a shutdown bonus that pays you $2000 in two installments in your first year. There is also a sign on bonus that pays you $1000 at 30 days and $1000 at 90 days. There is a safety bonus that pays you up to $250 per quarter if applicable. The schedule is Monday Friday or Tuesday - Saturday. The start time must be open to AM or PM due to the bid system.

Deliver SOLO to IN; within 300 mile radius. The route is local home daily. The tractor type is day cab and the trailer type is a dry van 53'. The freight is no touch auto parts. Strong backing skills are required. Company paid scale bypass trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24 / 7 roadside maintenance and company drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 maintenance facilities nationwide.

Requirements

Minimum 21 years of age, pass a Ryder drug test, pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years, pass a DOT physical, pass a Ryder road test, provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position, must have class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle : 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR 5 years' experience within the last 10 years, ability to follow written and / or oral instructions, ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and / or procedures.

Responsibilities

Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and / or state laws, regulations, and / or agency rules, standards and guidelines, detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards, maintaining accurate records and logs, loading / unloading freight or assisting in the loading / unloading of freight if required by customer, performs other duties as assigned.
