RN/LPN Respiratory Care Unit

As a Nurse on ourRespiratory Care Unit, you will play a vital role in providing top-notch careto our patients. The Respiratory Unit is a specialty unit providing careto patients with ALS, Traumatic Brain Injury and Ventilator Dependency.
Thedesired candidate will have a passion for caring for residents needing 24-hourcritical care in a long term care environment.
This center is part of OriolHealth Care, a family owned and operated company, providing outstanding carefor more than 50 years.
Full time and parttime shifts available :
6 : 45 am - 7 : 15 pm
6 : 45 pm - 7 : 15 am
6 : 45 pm - 11 : 15 pm
Responsibilities :
- Assess patients' health needs and develop and implement care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the appropriate staff member
- Communicate with patients and families to provide education and support
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure continuity of treatment
- Document patients' progress and outcomes using electronic medical records
- Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in nursing
- Participate in professional development opportunities to maintain and improve skills
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Valid MA RN or LPN nursing License
- 1 year of experience is preferred but will consider a new graduate nurse.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
