Description
Worlds of Wow is the industry leading provider of interior design and thematic space creation for kids and families nationwide.
We design, manufacture, and paint all components at our facility here in Denton, TX. We are looking to add to our talented team.
We are seeking a Spray Coat Technician with experience in spraying foam insulation, hard coat, bed liner or Line-X. The ideal applicant will have experience operating coating spray guns and equipment as in Line-X or Foam Insulation.
Position Summary
Spray Gun : Probler P2 Machine : Graco Reactor A-XP1
The hard coat specialist coats foam sculptures in our hard coat booth.
Core accountabilities include hard coating polyurea plastic to foam sculptures, some fabrication, general assembly, surface preparation, and body work using power tools and Bondo in post.
Qualifications
- 1 year experience in Line-X or hard coating / production environment
- 1 year experience doing bodywork with fillers and power tools.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and job duties in a fast-paced, high output environment.
- Ability to lift 40lbs. Occasionally more with assistance.
- Remain poised and professional when handling high stress situations.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while setting and meeting deadlines; proven problem-solving skills;
and can work with minimal supervision.
- Maintain a clean workspace to include cleaning, minimal repairs, and maintenance of equipment (daily, weekly, monthly).
- Ability to communicate quickly and effectively with coworkers and management.
- Other fabrication skills are preferred and valued (paint, sculpt, build).
- While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles.
Use of job specific protective PPE is mandatory.
