What You’ll Do
As a Patient Care Coordinator, you’ll serve as the trusted guide for patients exploring alternatives to knee replacement surgery. You’ll be the first voice they hear and the trusted support that helps them move from uncertainty to clarity. Your role is equal parts education, support, and accountability — making sure patients feel understood, informed, and ready to take the next step in their care journey.
Day to day, you’ll :
Respond quickly to patient inquiries and connect with patients through calls, texts, and emails.
Learn each patient’s history and current challenges so you can recommend the best path forward.
Educate patients about minimally invasive options and answer questions with clarity and empathy.
Guide patients through scheduling their consultation and ensure they’re prepared to attend.
Coordinate smoothly with our partner practices to align schedules and insurance requirements.
Maintain organized, detailed notes so every patient interaction is seamless and professional.
Results (What Success Looks Like)
Daily patient outreach targets are consistently achieved and tracked.
Monthly goal for new consultations schedule is met or exceeded.
All patient interactions are documented clearly and completely in the CRM by end of day.
Internal communication rhythms (updates to Account Manager, team check-ins) are consistently followed.
Patients receive timely, professional responses across phone, text, and email.
High consult show-rate is maintained through persistent follow-up and effective reminder systems.
Objections are handled with empathy and persistence, leading to patient confidence and trust.
Personal organization and pipeline management allow for visibility into lead status at any time.
Feedback is welcomed and applied to continuously improve patient outcomes and performance.

Requirements
Must be local to our office (100 Challenger Road, Ridgefield Park, NJ)
Exceptional phone presence — able to make patients feel comfortable, understood, and confident in moving forward
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain medical options simply and clearly
Strong at building rapport and trust quickly with patients of all backgrounds
Comfortable managing outreach through calls, texts, and emails; efficient with modern communication tools and CRM systems
Highly organized and detail-oriented; able to keep patient pipelines up-to-date and transparent for the team
Persistent and resilient when faced with patient objections or hesitation, while remaining empathetic and professional
Routine-driven and self-sufficient, with strong time management and follow-through skills
Open to learning new processes, scripts, and patient engagement techniques — coachable and growth-oriented
Committed to personal and professional growth; welcomes feedback and seeks continuous improvement
(Preferred) 6+ months experience in patient coordination, healthcare call centers
