About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Pricing to play a pivotal role in the strategic growth of the organization. This executive will be responsible for leading the pricing team, developing and implementing cost strategies for proposals, and ensuring the preparation of competitive and compliant cost and price proposals. The role involves close collaboration with executive management and various departments to develop pricing models that support business strategies. The successful candidate will also be tasked with maintaining and improving cost proposal processes, quality control procedures, and conducting peer reviews. A key aspect of the position is the ability to mentor and teach best practices to the team. Applicants for the Vice President of Pricing position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' of experience in government contracting, with at least 5 years' in a supervisory or management role. The role requires a leader with strong communication skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a deep understanding of various contract types and their cost / price analysis. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading pricing organizations and be adept at developing and leading large, complex, solutions-based bids in the federal government services market. A Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline is required, with a Master's degree being a plus. The candidate should also have experience with federal government market intelligence tools and a strong knowledge of bidding practices for Alaskan Native-owned organizations.
