Job Description

Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Specialty : Home Health

Job Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 8-hour days, Monday to Friday, 8 : 30 AM - 5 : 00 PM, with a commitment to float. Mileage is reimbursed according to guidelines.

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week

Experience : Minimum of 2 years, with at least 1 year in Home Health in the past 2 years

License : RN license in California

Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS)

Must-Have : Experience with EMR systems, preferably Home Care Home Base (HCHB)

Job Description :

• Participate in the start of cares (SOC), resumption of cares (ROC), recertifications, and daily visits.
• Maintain a standard productivity expectation of 1 start of care and 3 revisit visits or 5 revisit visits in one day.
• Ensure patient visits are organized efficiently to minimize travel, with discretionary points for travels exceeding 60 miles a day.
• Complete personal timesheets detailing mileage for approval by home health supervisors.
• Attend meetings twice a month for mileage verification or send photocopies via email for approval.
• Use the HomeCare Home Base charting system.
• One weekend work commitment per four-week schedule with the same hours.

This position does not require a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
