Duties include supporting the department's operational readiness by managing equipment inspections and inventories; coordinating vehicle maintenance and transport; enforcing parking regulations; and assisting with front desk operations. Additional duties include providing supplemental response to non-emergency incidents such as minor traffic collisions, stranded motorists, and roadway obstructions; and ensuring compliance with departmental standards while delivering logistical support for fleet and equipment needs. A high school diploma or GED required. Some college or vocational training preferred. Duties involve access to sensitive Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS), which requires that a thorough background check be conducted. Candidates will be subject to a polygraph exam and criminal history check. Must not have any criminal conviction above the grade of a Class B misdemeanor or any Class B misdemeanor within the past 10 years; other convictions may also be considered. Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) and Privacy Training must be successfully completed within the first five business days from start of work date; and must be maintained during employment. Must also obtain and maintain NCIC / TCIC, Texas Crime Information Center (TCIC) and Texas Law Enforcement Telecommunications System (TLETS) certifications. A thorough background check will be conducted. Candidates will be subject to a polygraph exam and criminal history check. A conviction for Class B misdemeanor and above is disqualifying; other convictions may also be considered.
PAY GRADE GG13 FULL PAY RANGE $20.53 - $28.94 PER HOUR
