Job Summary :
The Echo Tech is responsible for performing echocardiograms on adult patients in an acute care hospital setting. This includes adult call shifts, and the tech may be required to float to other facilities. The role requires proficiency in echocardiography techniques and adherence to hospital protocols.

Responsibilities :
- Perform echocardiograms on adult patients.
- Participate in adult call shifts for echo coverage.
- Gather and record patient data related to echocardiogram procedures.
- Maintain and clean equipment used for echocardiograms.
- Document patient care and related duties appropriately.
- Answer phone calls and direct them accordingly.
- Coordinate equipment / supply needs.
- Notify appropriate department of equipment malfunction.
- Assist with patient preparation for diagnostic tests.
- Transport patients as needed.
- Assist in emergency situations as directed.
Required Skills & Certifications :
