Description :

Candidates should indicate if shift preference is flexible.

No block schedule requests will be accepted.

48-hour shifts may be considered, but are not guaranteed.

The facility has 171 beds and is a community hospital and regional referral center.

It is a certified Chest Pain Center and a Level 3 Trauma Center.

The location offers outdoor recreation and beautiful mountain ranges paired with serene lake scenery.

It is in proximity to major cities including Las Vegas, Phoenix, and Los Angeles.

The unit includes 40 beds.

Patient ratios are 1 : 6.

Equipment includes Baxter IV pumps, Posey bed / chair alarms, and Zoll defibrillators.

Electronic health records are managed through Medhost.

The patient population primarily consists of adults and geriatrics.

Candidates must have telemetry experience and recent acute care experience.

Experience as a preceptor or charge nurse is a plus.

The type of patients on the unit include those with total joint procedures, surgical patients, and acute on chronic medical conditions.

Ideal candidates will have a compassionate, positive, and can-do attitude.

The required education is an Associate's Degree in Nursing.

Dress code requires black scrubs for both top and bottom.

Open-toed shoes are not acceptable attire.
