- Maintain quality nursing operations by planning, staffing, and ensuring delivery of nursing services according to regulations and facility policies.
- Ensure availability of competent nursing staff through selection, orientation, supervision, and evaluations.
- Establish training goals and coordinate staff training to ensure participation and effectiveness.
- Support coordination of multi-level care services across disciplines to enhance resident lifestyles.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with residents and families through direct interaction.
- Manage department within fiscal constraints including budget development and monitoring.
- Generate new ideas for training and education by developing relationships with community and educational agencies.
- Provide leadership and share expertise at management meetings and committees.
- Ensure 24 / 7 nursing support through on-call schedules.
- Maintain professional knowledge and compliance through continuing education and training.
- Complete compliance and HIPAA training and adhere to organizational policies.
- Follow all local, state, and federal regulations related to the position.
- Adhere to privacy and security policies in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications :
Licensed Registered Nurse with B.S.N. or M.S.N. preferred.Current Health Care Provider BCLS Certification from American Heart or Red Cross.Five or more years progressive nursing experience in long-term care.Proven experience as Director of Nursing.In-depth knowledge of CCRC procedures and resident care KPIs and KQIs.Understanding of budgeting and financial reporting.Strong knowledge of healthcare legal regulations and best practices.Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Why is This a Great Opportunity :
