Registered Nurse II

The Division of Communicable Disease Control and Prevention, Tuberculosis (TB) Program, is seeking 1.0 FTE Registered Nurse II to support contact investigations and as needed act as the hospital liaison. The best candidate will have communicable disease knowledge and specific knowledge about tuberculosis. Nurse will be part of a team to conduct the following activities :

• Contact investigation
• Contact tracing
• Interviewing patients
• Guiding providers
• Linking to care
• LTBI follow-up
• Make medical record requests to providers or healthcare systems
• bility to conduct data entry on contacts into an online database
• bility to work in a team environment
• Experience with CalConnect or CalREDIE (ideal but not required - training will be provided at onboarding).
