Impec Group is currently seeking a dedicated and reliable part-time Housekeeper to join our team at our client site in Oakland, CA.

Your primary responsibility will be to uphold high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and maintenance to create a comfortable and hygienic environment in college facilities, including dormitories, classrooms, offices, and common areas.

Pay Rate $19 / hr

Position Part-Time Housekeeper

Schedule 7.5hrs / shift, Saturday and Sunday 3 : 00PM to 11 : 00PM

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and mirrors
• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in designated areas
• Clean and polish furniture, desks, shelves, fixtures, and surfaces
• Monitor and refill cleaning supplies as needed
• Assist in maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
• Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations
• Perform other duties and assist with cleaning projects as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience in custodial or janitorial work preferred
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift / move heavy objects if necessary
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
