• Perform welding and soldering tasks to join metal components together
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine welding specifications
• Assemble and fabricate metal structures using various welding techniques
• Use rigging equipment and cranes to position and secure large metal pieces
• Perform pipe threading and welding for plumbing and construction projects
• Conduct inspections of welded joints to ensure quality and accuracy
• Operate machinery and tools for cutting, grinding, and machining metal
• Use calipers and other measuring instruments to ensure precise measurements

Requirements

• Proven experience as a welder, with expertise in various welding techniques
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong knowledge of welding equipment, tools, and safety procedures
• Ability to accurately measure and use calipers for precise welding work
• Familiarity with pipe threading techniques for plumbing applications
• Experience operating cranes and rigging equipment for large-scale projects
• Basic understanding of machining processes for metal fabrication
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality welds
