Job descriptionThree (3) years of instrumentation experience. Technical certification or diploma in instrumentation and pneumatic systems preferred. In-depth knowledge of pneumatic devices, valves, actuators, and control systems. Knowledge of PPE equipment required for the tasks. Dedicated to constant improvement and attention to detail. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and safety awareness. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools and diagnostic equipment. Instrumentation tubing installation techniques. Experience with automation and control systems. Strong understanding of instrumentation principles and control systems. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Hand tools Power tools Tubing benders May be required to work on weekends and / or overtime when necessary. Position will work primarily in the field. Subject to time pressures and constraints and is also dependent on input from others. Need to be fit for duty. May require standing, bending, or lifting heavy equipment during the installation and maintenance process. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety goggles, gloves, and steel-toe boots is mandatory. Must have a valid driver's license and will need to meet the company's insurers driving policy requirements. Per diem will be compensated to defray expenses associated with traveling, meals and lodging in accordance with applicable law. Responsibilities
- Fabricate, assemble, services, maintains and tests various systems and equipment.
- Install tubing on instrumentation task with accuracy and quality.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on pneumatic equipment.
- Prepare safety devices with proper fittings.
- Perform safety testing and troubleshooting of devices and safety systems.
- Assist and maintain high level of work quality.
- Perform all work in accordance with established safety standards and industry regulations.
