Unit Description :
Med / Surg Telemetry Department; we are a 38-bed unit; nurse to patient ration is 1-4 or 1-5 depending on call-ins, or which hall you are in.
We are a fast-paced unit with high acuity patients. What separates us from regular med / surg is the telemetry part. We can take certain cardiac drips, chest tubes, and TR bands.
Our unit is fun and great to work on if you are looking to learn a lot, grow your basic nursing skills, and work with great colleagues.
We are an energetic unit, who celebrates a lot, and we provide compassionate care to our patients and make them feel like family.
