We are looking for an experienced HRIS Manager to oversee and optimize human resource information systems for our organization. This role involves spearheading system enhancements, managing HRIS-related projects, and ensuring seamless functionality to support organizational needs. Based in New Hyde Park, New York, this is a long-term contract opportunity offering the chance to make a significant impact on HR operations.
Responsibilities :
- Lead and coordinate the implementation of new modules within the HRIS system, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Provide training and support to team members on HRIS functionalities, including conducting onsite sessions as needed.
- Collaborate with union staff and other stakeholders to manage position data and scheduling modules.
- Maintain and improve dashboards to deliver insightful data and reporting capabilities.
- Work closely with the existing HRIS specialist to ensure smooth transitions and knowledge sharing.
- Analyze system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain optimal functionality.
- Partner with vendors and external teams to ensure timely delivery of system updates and enhancements.
- Develop and document processes for ongoing system maintenance and user support.
- Facilitate team interviews and coordinate onboarding processes for additional HRIS-related roles.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and standards while managing HRIS operations.
- Proven experience managing HRIS systems, with expertise in Paycom preferred.
- Strong ability to create and optimize dashboards for data visualization and reporting.
- Solid understanding of position management and scheduling modules.
- Excellent training skills, including the ability to lead onsite sessions.
- Strong analytical skills for system troubleshooting and performance evaluation.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with union staff and other stakeholders.
- Experience working on long-term projects, ensuring consistent system improvements.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
