The Company :
JBAndrews is partnering with a global robotics manufacturing business to help them find a Robotics Leader. This individual will be responsible for leading a 90-person Robotics Business Unit, which is global and takes care of a few key areas : 1) Robotics Development, 2) Vendor Development, 3) Quality Assurance, and 4) Manufacturing
The role :
- Overseeing the overall robotics roadmap
- Responsible for leadership and direction for robotics development initiatives
- Manage opportunity funnel, forecasting, and action plans
- Leading innovation and identifying opportunities for technological advancements in robotic design, systems integration, and mission capabilities
- Leading, training, and mentoring a team of engineers
- Oversee the execution of development projects, including budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management
- Internal team collaboration to align on development objectives
The Requirements :
- Bachelor's, preferably a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
- 15+ years of experience in robotics hardware development
- Leadership of design teams to address major robotics technical issues; developing recommendations and advising management on those recommendation
