Job Opportunity : Direct Support Professional DSP Group Employment with ARC Industries, Inc. in Columbus, OH Are you a Direct Support Professional who enjoys working with participants with intellectual or developmental disabilities to live their life to the fullest and engage in their community?

Are you looking for a supportive, caring team to work and grow with? If so, this is the opportunity for you! Schedule : Monday through Friday 3 : 30pm-11 : 30pm (paid lunch), Great work / life balance! $18.

00 an hour! Plus, $1.50 Shift Differential!

As a DSP, you are expected to demonstrate a desire to create lasting positive impacts on people's lives and enjoy coaching, mentoring, and encouraging others to celebrate their achieved outcomes.

Group Employment Essential Job Functions

• Teach skills for job readiness, social, educational, community and daily living
• Provide assistance to each individual based on their Person-Centered ISP
• Perform cleaning duties with participants

To be a Direct Support Professional , you must be :

• 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• One year of experience in related field preferred, but not required
• Able to work independently and exercise problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift, bend, push and pull up to 50 pounds
• Able to pass a background check and drug screen
