Administrative Manager
Location : Los Angeles (Downtown and Century City offices)

About This Role
We are seeking two experienced Administrative Managers to drive operational excellence across our Am Law 100 firm's Los Angeles offices. In this strategic role, you will lead administrative teams, optimize office operations, and collaborate with leadership to support our firm's continued growth and success. You'll manage multiple locations while fostering a culture of professional development and operational efficiency.
What You'll Do
- Lead daily administrative operations across assigned offices in Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego
- Directly supervise 7–10 direct reports and oversee 25+ administrative staff in the LA region, including secretaries and departmental assistants
- Provide oversight of outsourced office services, reception, and facilities management
- Develop and execute initiatives focused on recruiting, onboarding, professional development, and training for legal support staff
- Plan and coordinate local events and community outreach activities
- Monitor departmental budgets and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders on operations initiatives
- Travel to regional offices as needed (approximately once per month)
What We're Looking For
Experience Background
Proven law firm operations or administrative background (required)Minimum 5 years managing teams; 7+ years in legal operations or administrative roles preferredDemonstrated success managing legal secretaries and professional support staffExperience with recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and performance management in a legal environmentCore Competencies
