Avant Tech is recruiting on behalf of a top-tier law firm seeking two Legal Administrative Managers to support its prestige Law Firm near Los Angeles offices (Downtown and Century City). This role offers the opportunity to lead a large, dynamic team in a high-profile legal environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily legal administrative operations across multiple offices (Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego)
- Directly supervise 7–10 reports and 25+ support staff, including secretaries and assistants
- Oversee outsourced office services, reception, and facilities
- Manage onboarding, coaching, and performance evaluations for staff
- Drive initiatives in recruiting, training, and professional development
- Coordinate office events, community outreach, and monitor budgets
- Partner with firmwide leadership and stakeholders
- Travel monthly to regional offices
Requirements
Minimum 7 years in legal operations / administrative managementAt least 5 years of team leadership experience in a law firm environment (Big Law preferred)Strong experience managing legal secretaries and professional staffSkilled in onboarding, coaching, and performance managementAdvanced Microsoft Office skillsBachelor’s degree strongly preferredStrong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skillsBenefits
