Responsibilities
Qualifications
Supervisory experience of 1-3 years, along with supervisory training or equivalent Plant Sanitarian training such as AIB, Pest Control, Microbiological and Chemical analysis.
Food plant sanitation experience.
General knowledge of cleaners and sanitizers used in a food processing environment.
General knowledge of control of microrganisms through Sanitation processes, including listeria, coliforms, and salmonella.
Flexibility to respond to changing needs throughout the shift.
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills skills.
Solid ability to organize and prioritize.
Computer skills and ability to use email system.
Excellent “root cause” problem solving / troubleshooting skills.
Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
Must be able to communicate in English (read, write and converse) in order to receive written and verbal job and safety instructions, comprehend hazardous material labeling, follow schedules, and prepare reports as required.
