JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Analyst will be responsible for moderately complex accounting activities including journal entries, account reconciliation, and reporting in accordance with GAAP. The Senior Analyst will conduct in-depth data analysis, generating insights, and providing strategic recommendations to support evidence-based decision making. The Senior Analyst position will play a critical role in analyzing financial data.

EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
WORK EXPERIENCE
1 to 3 years
SKILL AND / OR REQUIRED LICENSING / CERTIFICATION
Proven experience in accounting, finance, or a related role, preferably in an education or school district setting.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Excel,
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES
Work Leadership. Regularly provides project management or team leadership to a group of two or more employees, but does not have formal supervisory responsibility. Leading and directing typically involves monitoring work and providing guidance on escalated issues. Most of work time is spent performing many of same duties they are leading.
WORK COMPLEXITY / INDEPENDENT JUDGMENT
Work involves the application of moderately complex procedures and tasks that are quite varied. Independent judgment is often required to select and apply the most appropriate of available resources. Ongoing supervision is provided on an "as needed" basis.

No budget development activity is required.
