Calix is looking for a Regional Sales Manager focused on selling to and supporting new prospects and existing Calix customers in the Tier 3 BSP telecommunications, municipality and electric cooperative market.
Responsibilities and Duties :
- Work within our sales team structure with solutions engineers and overlay solutions specialists to develop the strategy for the overall territory account team.
- Support existing customers while also targeting new prospects in the region.
- Manage the complete and complex sales-cycle.
- Drive alignment with internal team members within the territory.
- Ensuring Calix stays positively positioned within these accounts by growing revenue, locking out competition and uncovering new opportunities within each account.
- Regional travel is required, approximately 50%-75% .
Qualifications :
- 7+ years of experience of quota carrying technology sales and account management experience.
- Track record of over-achieving quota (top 10-20% of company) in past positions.
- Comfortable and compelling both on the phone, in the boardroom, and on video.
- Consistent earnings history representative of plan over-achievement.
- Candidates must be competitive, cooperative, collaborative and work well with both internal and external customers.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
Desired Experience :
- In-depth technical understanding of Broadband Service Provider networking, business and industry.
- Experience selling into Tier 3 Broadband Service Provider customers.
- Bachelor or University Degree strongly preferred.
