Job Overview
This role reports to the Technical Assistance Center Systems Project Administrator and provides systems administration and two‑tier support for the Technical Assistance Center, which offers front‑line support for all of the Department’s IT needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide systems administration and two‑tier support.
- Intake, classify, and manage all support requests accurately.
- Offer timely troubleshooting, diagnostics, and escalation of support requests.
- Act as the TAC vendor liaison.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge and experience of customer service principles.Excellent verbal communication skills.Experience with Windows 10 operating systems.Ability to analyze and troubleshoot computer‑related problems across desktop, network, hardware, and software categories.Experience with Microsoft Active Directory.Knowledge of Oracle database account administration.Proficiency with desktop productivity applications, including Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and Adobe.Experience with Microsoft Remote Desktop Services.Logical processing and independent problem‑solving skills.Effective communication abilities.Capacity to handle multiple priorities and coordinate work assignments.Team‑work skills.Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a technical support environment such as an IT call center, computer repair, or technical support position.Experience creating technical documentation.Proficiency with technical troubleshooting tools.Job Related Requirements
Position requires a Level 2 background check and CJIS clearance, including a fingerprint‐based check of FBI records.On‑call status is required.General Information
