Temporary Dental Hygienist

At Bowcutt Dental, we believe dentistry is more than cleanings and checkups — it’s about changing lives, one smile at a time. We’re looking for a friendly, reliable dental hygienist to join our team on a temporary basis to help us continue providing exceptional care for our patients.

We value collaboration, professionalism, and a warm, patient-centered approach. You’ll be supported by a caring, experienced team — including a dedicated hygiene assistant who will be there to help with perio charting, x-rays, sterilization, and room setup — so you can focus on patient care.

Your Role

As part of our hygiene team, your responsibilities include :

• Greeting and preparing patients for treatment
• Taking radiographs, intraoral photos, and 3D scans
• Performing prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing
• Educating patients on oral health and treatment needs
• Collaborating with the hygiene assistant for efficient workflow and patient comfort
• Maintaining proper sterilization and infection control standards
• Assisting the dentist and team with patient communication

Qualifications

Current Texas Dental Hygiene License

Minimum 1 year of clinical experience

Strong communication and chairside manner

Positive attitude and ability to adapt to new environments
