American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with ARRT certification and experience in neuro and peripheral interventions for a 13-week inpatient / outpatient assignment.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in an inpatient / outpatient IR department featuring 4 angio suites, 1 CT suite, and 1 pain clinicDay shifts, 4x10 hours (7 : 30 AM - 6 : 00 PM) Monday through Friday with a rotating day offPossible weekend coverage is requiredRegular call is required : one primary call shift per week and one primary call weekend per month with a 30-minute call back timePatient population includes those requiring neuro and peripheral interventional proceduresCandidates must work at least one holiday per 13-week assignment and two holidays if the assignment covers winter holidaysLocal candidates are not accepted if they reside within 100 miles of the facility based on Driver’s License addressTravelers who live 50-99.9 miles away may be considered for one 13-week assignment with no eligibility to extendPrevious employees must have been separated for at least one year to be eligible to return as a travelerTravelers are generally not eligible to return for assignments after working a total of 365 days, with possible exceptions subject to reviewPaid orientation modules and Epic EMR training are included, with hours allocated based on specialty\n \n Requirements\n
Current ARRT certification (CV or VI; VI preferred)BLS (AHA) requiredGraduate of an approved School of Radiologic TechnologyHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredGraduate of an approved School of Interventional Radiology preferredExperience in neuro and peripheral interventions requiredVirginia state license preferred; any state license accepted (emergency authorization available while VA license is processed)Active license required if applicableSubmission of two professional references for considerationCopy of Driver’s License and Social Security number required\n Benefits\n
