Contingency Inventory Manager

Contingent upon contract award. The Inventory Manager when hired will oversee the inventory operations of Government-owned mission stock and will direct employees engaged in conducting Distribution Standard system DSS or other Warehouse Management System inventories, researching inventory discrepancies and documenting gains and losses through causative research, performing denial research, item data maintenance and location surveys. When hired, the Contingency Inventory Manager will be responsible for records and maintains control of all inventory items purchased and produces.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Responsible for ensuring the inventory integrity of the Government-owned mission stock meets the acceptable performance levels outlined in the contract.
• Plans the use of subordinate workers, equipment, facilities, and materials based on workload projections on a weekly or monthly bases.
• Establishes deadlines, priorities, and work sequences IAW general work schedules, methods, and policies established by the Site Manager and / or Alternate Site Manager.
• Redirects workers and resources to accomplish unanticipated work and to accommodate daily workload fluctuations.
• Conducts planning of current and future work schedules.
• Providing workload data, estimates, information on staffing needs.
• Recommendations as to the scheduling of project work.
• Ensures work is done properly and efficiently IAW the terms and condition of the contract.
• Ensure compliance with established internal control procedures.
• Responsible for data and inventory control.
• Other duties as assigned.

Work Environment : Work is performed primarily indoors in a warehouse and office setting in San Deigo, CA.
