Job Goal : Substitute Teachers will need to execute lesson plans left by the absent teacher, create and maintain a respectful and fair classroom culture that fosters safe and productive learning remotely and / or in person. Substitute Teachers will monitor, observe, and report student behavior according to school policies and procedures remotely and / or in person.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be at least 18 years of age;
• Education equivalent to graduation from an accredited high school or General Education Certificate (GED)

Terms Of Employment

Assuming you are available for substitute teacher assignments, our need for Substitutes will vary from day-to-day and week-to-week and, as such, we cannot guarantee work each day. Employment in this regard, is therefore not applicable under the provisions of chapter 71, Section 41 of the Massachusetts General Laws pertaining to tenure of teachers and school nurses.

In any event, I can provide you with reasonable assurance of employment as an Intermittent Substitute Teacher during the forthcoming year.
