HR Specialist
Job Title : HR Specialist
Job Duration : 6 months contract with possible extension
Job Location :
Remote full-time position but must be local to St. Petersburg or Tampa, FL in case schedule changes to include on-site days.
Job Details :
- Must be able to work in a high volume environment.
- Must be able to work independently and with minimal training.
- Willingness to work over Zoom and Teams on camera.
- Some duties will be administrative.
Duties :
- HR Generalist Duties, HR Data Management duties (candidates do not need Recruiting experience).
- Access, review and update data in HR related systems.
- Run and send reports to HR and other users.
- Assist with reviewing the HR email inbox. Triage requests assisting where possible.
- Provide overall support to Human Resources / HR Tech department.
- Assist with testing new systems and system updates.
- Audit data for completeness and accuracy.
- Answer system / process / policy questions through email, over the phone or in person.
Skills :
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a human resource generalist (Compensation, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, HR Data Management).
- Working knowledge of HR practices (employee onboarding and HR systems).
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite (especially with Excel, Outlook, and Word).
- Some recruiting and onboarding experience.
- Must have experience working with mid to large size Co's in a high volume environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to learn new tasks quickly.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality while working with sensitive data.
- Ability to maintain professionalism at all times; this person will regularly interact with HR Senior Management.
Education :
- A minimum of a High School Diploma / GED Completed, Bachelor's Degree is preferred but not required.
