Base pay range

$70,000.00 / yr - $85,000.00 / yr

Role Description

We are seeking a paralegal with at least 1-2 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should have previous experience assisting with trial preparation, filing and service of pleadings, organizing and compiling documents and other information, researching case-related files and sources, and coordinating with attorneys, courts, and related parties. This will be a hybrid position in our San Francisco (Walnut Creek) office.

Paralegal responsibilities

• Preparing legal documents, including appeals, complaints, discovery requests, motions, briefs, pretrial agreements, subpoenas, and summonses.
• Responding to discovery requests, propounding discovery, and working with eDiscovery platforms.
• Reviewing and summarizing complex claims files, depositions, and documents.
• Assisting lawyers with preparation for arbitration, depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Managing case files, documents, exhibits, and evidence.
• Assisting with insurance coverage related tasks, such as exposure models and policy review.
• Liaising with clients, court personnel, attorneys, and administrative staff.
