Nuclear Plant Integration Engineer

A company is looking for a Plant Design Integration Engineer to support the integration and coordination of nuclear island plant design.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with team members to develop nuclear island plant integration deliverables focusing on design engineering, licensing, and configuration management

Provide support for licensing, design engineering, safety analysis, and PRA activities

Develop plant level integration design deliverables in collaboration with design departments, including plans and design documents

Required Qualifications and Education

Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in nuclear facility design or operation

BS degree in a relevant engineering discipline (nuclear, chemical, mechanical, or electrical engineering) or a Senior Reactor Operators license

Working understanding of NRC regulations and prior interaction with NRC staff is desirable

Experience working to quality standards on design activities, such as ASME NQA-1 or ISO 9001

Ability to work effectively with geographically distributed teams and demonstrate initiative in a fast-paced environment
