CDL Driver - Aerial Lift Equipment Delivery & Pickup
API Supply, Inc. is seeking a full-time, CDL Class-A Driver for our Minneapolis location. Operator experience with SkyJack, JLG, Genie Aerial Lifts or heavy equipment, preferred.
As a CDL Driver, you will deliver and recover a variety of aerial lift equipment to and from customer worksites. This role involves hauling equipment on a flatbed or lowboy trailer (dovetail) in various conditions, including urban, suburban, rural settings.
The ability to drive safely in tight settings such as construction zones is required.
Preferred Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid Driver's license with CDL License and acceptable driving record.
- 3 years' driving experience required.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
- Prior experience with commercial / construction equipment or towing required.
- Experience driving flat-beds, lowboy dovetail trailers required.
- Familiarity with DOT tie-down requirements.
- Operator experience with SkyJack, JLG, Genie Aerial Lifts or heavy equipment preferred.
- Ability to troubleshoot and make minor repairs to equipment and vehicle at job sites.
- Customer service attitude.
Physical Demands
Bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors / outdoors daily, year-round in various weather conditions.
Typically driving hours
6 : 00 AM - 2 : 30 PM, Monday - Friday
