IM Nocturnist | High-Acuity Learning Environment + Mentorship & Education Focus

We are seeking a dedicated Physician MD/DO specializing in Internal Medicine to join our team as a Nocturnist at Broadlawns Medical Center. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional patient care services within the approved clinical privileges.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Maintain clinical skills in Internal Medicine.
• Provide direct patient care in inpatient and/or outpatient settings.
• Offer supervision and consultation to mid-level providers, residents, and medical students.
• Participate in departmental call schedules and medical education programs.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and medical staff meetings.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of medical records.
• Educate patients and families on care plans.

Schedule: Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current Iowa State medical license.
• Board certification in Internal Medicine within five years of residency.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior practice experience.
