In 1910 the farming and mining community of Centerville, Iowa called out to the Sisters of Mercy and they answered that call by building St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital. Over 100 years later the now named MercyOne Centerville Medical Center still cares for patients throughout southern Iowa and northern Missouri. The foundation of our care is the 25 bed Mercy One Centerville  Medical Center which offers a 24/7  six bed Emergency Department with a complement of services including PET scan, MRI, Doppler ultrasound and CT. The MercyOne Centerville Specialty Clinic gives the region access to Audiology, Dermatology, ENT, Medical Oncology, Nephrology, Orthopedics, Podiatry, Rheumatology, Urology as well as MercyOne Iowa Heart Cardiology. The area's only Quick Care is available seven days per week and our MercyOne Centerville Medical Clinic offers Family Medicine services as it was meant to be. Recently MercyOne Centerville expanded its circle of care to Ottumwa, Iowa offering Podiatry, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics and Pediatrics.
