What You'll Be Doing :
- Research new technologies and leverage optimization techniques to ensure that systems operate efficiently.
- Perform the day-to-day maintenance and patching as well as ensuring STIG compliance by monitoring, testing performance, troubleshooting OS, resolving hardware and software problems, scheduling upgrades, and collaborating with other engineers on network / system optimization.
Must Haves :
- Experience installing new or rebuilding existing servers both physical and virtual.
- Demonstrated experience in the configuration of hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, and storage through Agile methodologies.
- Experienced with transitioning on-premise applications and software to the government hybrid-cloud solution.
- Proven aptitude in maintaining DoD approved cloud service providers to provide information technology services and capabilities, to include high performance computing, Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Data as a Service (DaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) Cloud Service Offerings (CSOs).
- Strong understanding of how software behaves in order to deploy, configure, and troubleshoot systems.
- Level I Requirements :
- 0-5 years of experience.
- Certification that satisfies the DoD 8570 IAT Level I requirement (A+ CE, CCNA-Security, CND, Network+, or SSCP).
- Level II Requirements :
- 6-11 years of experience.
- Certification that satisfies the DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirement (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, or SSCP).
- Level III Requirements :
- 12+ years of experience.
- Certification that satisfies the DoD 8570 IAT Level III requirement (CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP or Associate , GCED, or GCIH).
Security Requirements :
An Active Secret Clearance is required in order to be considered.
