SR. ACCOUNTING ANALYST

ABOUT THE COMPANY :
Our client, a leading developer, marketer and retail company, is seeking an experienced accounting professional to join their accounting team as a Sr.
Accounting Analyst. Having been in business for 70 years, they offer stability, work / life balance, a defined career path and a competitive salary and benefits package.
This role has a hybrid work schedule based in the Pickerington, OH area.
RESPONSIBILITES OF THE SR. ACCOUNTING ANALYST :
- Maintain and review inventory cost standards with FP&A.
- Ensure timely and reliable financial reporting for inventory, supply chain, and other key areas.
- Coordinate and track inventory reporting processes.
- Reconcile physical inventory and standard cost variances.
- Manage inventory liabilities and supply chain activities.
- Coordinate physical inventory processes.
- Provide ad hoc analysis.
- Execute and review month-end close processes for inventory and other areas.
- Conduct reconciliations and analysis for freight, duty variance, and supply chain activities.
- Establish and review internal controls to ensure reliable financial reporting and safeguard assets.
- Provide project support in inventory, costing, and supply chain as requested by management.
QUALIFICATIONS OF THE SR. ACCOUNTING ANALYST :
- Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or accounting preferred
- 2-5 years of accounting experience, with mix of public and industry accounting preferred
- Experience with inventory reporting and costing
- Experience in manufacturing is a plus
